Scripted Drama
A Scripted Drama addresses specific issues that are pertinent to your needs. Through research, design and rehearsal we create a fictitious organisation, where difficult or complex issues can be addressed with humour in a safe environment. The Steps team can also include a facilitator who ensures that the learning outcomes are achieved.
Scripted Drama is best applied to a large audience, for example: Conferences, Seminars and Road Shows. This technique can be applied to any behavioural issue, but has worked well for the following themes:
- Diversity & Work Life Balance
- Harassment and Bullying
- Risk Awareness
- Values and Vision / Organisational Change and Development
- Recruitment and Selection
- Customer Service and Sales
The Scripted Drama can be followed by facilitated questioning of the characters (hot-seating) and by a re-run incorporating advice from the audience (forum workshop).
Emotional and behavioural issues are notoriously difficult to engage within traditional training methods. Through the medium of the drama we provide an opportunity for facilitated discussion and sharing of best practice and a unique, supported opportunity to think the unthinkable, say the unsayable and change the seemingly unchangeable.
