As such, role play and practical case study work have become a key part of the assessment and development process.

We provide experiential assessment and development at all levels, but we are known for our work at senior leader/partner/board level within large, global organisations. Steps role players offer ‘as real’ skills practice experiences, coupled with sophisticated and impartial feedback. We are able to work globally, with teams capable of delivering in international languages (we have recently provided role players to deliver centres in Spanish, French, Russian, Dutch and German).

Consistency is an essential factor in the success of any assessment or development process and all skills practice scenarios are carefully aligned to the technical criteria agreed with you prior to the programme. Our role players are trained and skilled at delivering with consistency, ensuring an inclusive and equal assessment for delegates. We also work to understand the competency framework and criteria being used, in order to gauge appropriate levels of challenge.

Clients include BP, KPMG, Grant Thornton, DAC Beachcroft, DLA Piper and a Big 4 accountancy firm - for whom we designed an end-to-end development centre programme.
