Katherine graduated from the University of Kent with a BA(Hons) in History in 2013. She spent 3 summers during her degree as part of the School Shop team at an independent school, and prior to joining Steps she spent 10 months working at a clothing company in Essex developing her administrative, customer service and project management skills. During the summer of 2010 she took a month long trip to Mexico and Belize where she trekked, travelled and took part in community projects, all as part of a team of 10. Being accustomed to working within a close team was great when it came to working at Steps – although the challenges may be different, the close-knit environment is very similar.
Since joining Steps in August 2014, Katherine has taken an integral support role across the team. She provides support for Account Directors and Project Managers in all areas of programme development, as well as being part of the Marketing team.
When not at work, Katherine can often be found somewhere of historical interest – from decommissioned Nuclear Bunkers to Buckingham Palace, nowhere is unusual!
A wizard - I’m still very upset I never got a letter telling me I had a place at Hogwarts and I live in hope they’ll one day write and tell me there’s been a huge mistake and I should have been accepted years ago!
Titanic. It’s a nightmare when it’s on TV, my whole evening suddenly disappears as simply can’t flick past it – and I end up crying every single time...
